What Is Christianity

Christianity is the one true religion that follows the teachings and miracles of Jesus Christ. The word christ means "anointed one" and Jesus was the anointed one sent by God the Father to earth to fulfill all Old Testament Prophecies, to die on the cross for our sins and to raise from the dead.

Christianity teaches that there is only one God, the creator of the universe and all things in it. It is the ONLY religion that knows God by grace, in which he offers salvation through Jesus Christ to anyone who wants to accept it. Jesus was sent to die for all sins through all of time for every person who ever lived, lives and will live and that through faith in him, we are offered salvation.

Therefore, "What is Christianity?" is best answered by saying that it is a relationship with the true and living God through the person of Jesus Christ by whom we are forgiven of our sins and escape the righteous judgment of God.
