Kate grew up in the country, outside of Ottawa, and she is still a country girl at heart.
After vacationing in Banff three years in a row, Kate decided to move to Alberta permanently in 2020. In the summers, she goes hiking every weekend and will happily talk to you about the mountains (or her favourite bear attack podcast) for as long as you'll listen. Kate has been buddies with many toddlers over the years and loves throwing rocks in the river or going to the zoo with them.
Kate has personally experienced the freedom that comes from transformation in Christ, and is passionate about helping others find that same freedom. She loves seeing people, young and old, discover their unique value, take steps of faith, and learn to joyfully serve others. Her hope is that every child and team member in Kids Park would find themselves leaning into the adventure of following Jesus together.
